
A large number of brand contacts, such as when looking in the refrigerator or the delivery service driving past, pass us by without a trace. Traditional methods, such as surveys, cannot uncover these reliably.
To enable recording of visual brand contacts across media boundaries, René Schallner and Dr. Carolin Kaiser develop a cost-effective prototype for mobile logo detection in this deep learning, computer vision project.
In a small case study, they show how to capture visual touchpoints with brand logos using their prototype and show the effectiveness of this approach.
