What concerns are on the minds of people of a country and what do they feel are the most challenging issues that need to be resolved?
CHALLENGES OF NATIONS was an international study to determine the most urgent issues to be resolved in the respective countries. In the first years, the study was carried out in European countries - afterwards it encompassed 24 countries in America, Africa and Asia as well.
Challenges of Nations was an international study conducted by the GfK Verein (since February 2018 Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions) once a year in Germany since 1990 and in Europe since 2001.
The survey was based on the following open-ended question which was asked every year: “What do you believe are the most pressing challenges that need to be solved today in [respective country]?” There were no restrictions on the responses given by those surveyed, and several issues could be mentioned.
The last study was published in 2018.
