Armin Lindner
Armin Lindner has been part of the NIM team since July 2026, working as an IT Engineer. In addition to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and ongoing system maintenance, his responsibilities include the planning, development, and support of the institute’s entire IT infrastructure. In this role, he makes an important contribution to the continuous advancement of NIM’s IT environment, both technically and in terms of cybersecurity, while sustainably supporting the administrative and research departments through modern and innovative technologies.
Before joining NIM, Armin spent many years in the banking sector. There, he was responsible for managing the client and server infrastructure and served as the main point of contact for employees and external service providers on all hardware and software-related matters. Further areas of expertise included ensuring IT security in everyday operations, enabling the productive and secure use of mobile devices, and supporting self-service cash machines.
