Prof. Dr. Elena Freisinger

Elena Freisinger is Assistant Professor of Innovation Management (Tenure Track) at Ilmenau University of Technology in Thuringia, Germany. She received her Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) in Innovation Management from EBS University of Business and Law in 2019 and a Diploma from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2015. Her research focuses on the behavioral aspects of innovation management, particularly how innovation decision-makers respond to technological and environmental change, and how this shapes innovation management and business model innovation decisions. Methodologically, she specializes in experimental research designs and multivariate analyses. Her research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technovation, and the European Management Journal.
