Prof. Dr. Klaus Wertenbroch

Professor Klaus Wertenbroch is the Novartis Chaired Professor of Management and the Environment and Professor of Marketing at INSEAD. He teaches strategic brand management, pricing, and consumer decision-making in diverse programs, such as MBA, GEMBA, and Executive Education Programs. He is an internationally renowned scholar in the field of behavioural economics and studies how consumer decisions deviate from rational behaviour, particularly in relation to new technologies and artificial intelligence. He studied at the Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago and has conducted research and taught at leading universities in the US, Europe and Asia, including Yale, Duke, Berkeley and Wharton School/University of Pennsylvania. His award-winning research has been published in leading international academic journals and has received widespread recognition in academia, the media and politics.
