Zhiyong Fang

Zhiyong Fang is a working student in the Consumer Climate team at NIM. He assists with analyzing correlations between macroeconomic aggregates, such as GDP, and consumer climate indicators, including income expectations and intention to buy. Additionally, he supports the team by estimating time-series models and merging large-scale consumer panel datasets for further empirical analysis.

He is currently studying for a Master of Science in Economics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance at Wuhan Textile University and gained practical experience in processing large administrative datasets as a Research Intern at the Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB).
