Dr. Timo Schreiner
Dr. Timo Schreiner is Senior Researcher at the Future & Trends unit at the Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions (NIM).
His research is positioned at the intersection of marketing effectiveness, technological innovation and consumer behavior.
He examines how emerging technologies – such as artificial intelligence or virtual environments – shape marketing practices and consumer decision-making.
The aim of his work is to provide marketing professionals with a deeper understanding of the impact of new marketing approaches, while also supporting consumers in making more informed choices.

Before joining NIM as Senior Researcher, Dr. Schreiner gained several years of experience in IT consulting in the field of Data & Analytics as well as in market research on both the corporate and institute side.
Alongside his professional career, he completed his PhD at the University of Bayreuth, where he focused on enhancing the effectiveness of online advertising through personalization and cause-related marketing.
